DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY / APRIL 28, 2025 — IDEA Data Solutions, a leading provider of yacht management software, and YOT LTD, creator of FUSE hardware solutions, today announced a strategic partnership to deliver an optimized hardware-software ecosystem for the yacht management industry. This collaboration marks a significant advancement in maritime technology integration, offering yacht owners and operators a seamless, high-performance solution.

The partnership centers on the integration of IDEA's comprehensive yacht management software suite with YOT LTD's custom-designed hardware, specifically the IDEA-SR100 & IDEA-SR200 server. This 1U rack-mountable server has been built to IDEA's specifications and comes pre-installed with optimized IDEA Software, certified and approved for top performance and reliability.

The IDEA-SR100 Server: The IDEA-SR100 has been explicitly identified as the preferred hardware solution for running IDEA's complete suite of yacht and fleet management software, including IDEA YACHT, IDEA FLEET, and IDEA GT. Its form factor is a 1U rack-mountable server , a design that is well-suited for professional installations within the often space-constrained environments of yachts. This server is powered by Intel XEON processors , ensuring performance capable of handling the demanding operations of IDEA's software, even under challenging conditions. The 1U rack-mountable server comes with sliding rails and easy access top, great for maintenance and troubleshooting. In terms of connectivity, the IDEA-SR100 is equipped with multiple USB ports, 4 Gigabit Ethernet, and expansion slots, facilitating integration with other onboard systems such as navigation, entertainment, and security equipment. The server comes pre-loaded with Windows Server 2025 which supports up to 2 Virtual Machines that can run simultaneously. 

The IDEA-NR100 NUC: Recognizing the diverse needs within the yachting sector, IDEA and YOT LTD are also offering the IDEA-NR100, a mini server solution designed for yachts with smaller crews. This compact device provides a more cost-effective yet reliable alternative to the IDEA-SR100, making it an excellent option for vessels with limited space. The IDEA-NR100 is the perfect accompaniment to the IDEA YACHT GT package , a focus on providing a streamlined and efficient solution for smaller operations. The NR100 takes into account the install locations that might not have ideal temperature managament and comes with a wide range of temperature support from -40°C to 70°C, support 24/7 operation in almost all enviorement. 

The IDEA-SR200 Server: For larger vessels with more complex IT infrastructure needs, the IDEA-SR200 server is the right model. This solution is positioned as the ultimate option for yachts requiring the installation of multiple software applications, not just IDEA's suite, on a single server. The IDEA-SR200 comes pre-installed with optimized IDEA Software , ensuring immediate compatibility and peak performance right out of the box. This IDEA-SR200 is fully redundant , which ensures continuous operation and minimizes the risk of system downtime, making it a future-proof solution capable of maintaining high performance levels even in demanding scenarios. The IDEA-SR200 caters to the sophisticated IT demands of larger yachts, offering a pre-configured, high-performance, and highly reliable solution with built-in redundancy.
